  臺南，全臺最造開發的城市，在這古色古香的城市，吸引著許多遊客的到來，在將近400年來文化的薰陶下，使臺南的街頭充滿了人文韻味，隨著時代的進步，臺南的現代建築也越來越多，使台南街頭共存著多個不同時代的文化。

  本作品的設計理念以臺南多時代文化共存的意象為為出發點，透過不同木材的樣式及組裝形式，象徵著新舊文化的相輔相成，造就了臺南今日的樣貌，希望大眾經過時能由該作品中感受到自己現在所在的地方之美。

The design concept of this work is based on the image of the coexistence of cultures from different era in Tainan.We use different woods and assembly forms,in order to symbolize the complement of old and new cultures making the face of Tainan today.Besides

,we hope everyone can feel the beauty of the place where they are now passing through this work.
